The Nikon 1 J5 comes with new design and 4K recording

Nikon has announced the new Nikon 1 J5, a compact camera with Nikon 1 interchangeable lenses noteworthy for its new design, and for being the first Nikon with video recording in 4K.

The Nikon 1 J5 has a CX format backlit sensor (four times larger than the sensor of most compact cameras), plus it captures images at 20.8 megapixels and it’s capable of recording videos in 4K format. It has a large focus speed and a firing rate of 20 fps with continuous AF in the new Sports mode. It’s also equipped with a flip vertical touch screen, manual controls, Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC.

Nikon 1 J5

The Nikon 1 J5 is the first Nikon 1 camera has a large backlit CX format sensor of 20.8 megapixels. It incorporates a new generation EXPEED 5A image processor that provides an ISO range of 160-12800. The EXPEED 5A processor is an essential part of the fast autofocus in the camera, as well as the intelligent noise reduction and HD image generation.
