Along with the 32-inch UltraSharp UP32124Q announced last Thursday, Dell is working on a second Ultra HD monitor. The UltraSharp UP2414Q is a 24-inch IPS monitor with a 3840 x 2160 resolution.
This resolution should prove useful to designer and professional users, as it can display many details at the same time. The screen achieves 99% of the Adobe RGB color space and 100% of the sRGB one. As it’s common with IPS monitors, it features a 178-degree angle of view. The screen can be set in almost any position you want.
Each unit comes already calibrated, although you can configure it to suit your needs. Dell has also included an X-Rite i1Display Pro colorimeter so you can correctly configure it.
It has HDMI, DispayPort y miniDisplayPort ports, as well as four USB 3.0 ports and a multi-format card reader.
Nothing has been officially stated about its release date or price, although news about this should surface in a few weeks.
