New improvements in the Black and Silver Edition, available for 299 and 399 dollars.
Less than a year after the GoPro HERO3 hit the market, the well-known company has now announced the HERO3+ series. Despite having no truly innovative or new features, it’s packed with a lot of interesting features, improving on the standard Black and Silver Edition versions.
The new GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition is the most powerful camera of this manufacturer as of now. According to the company, it’s 20% smaller and lighter than its predecessor and has 30% more battery life. The lens has been also improved and the Wi-Fi connectivity is four times faster.
As for the rest of the specs, it’s pretty much identical to its little sister. The HERO3+ Black Edition is capable of recording 4K and 2,7K video at 15 and 25 FPS, as well as Full HD video at 60, 50, 48, 30, 25 and 24 FPS.
Meanwhile, the HERO3+ Silver Edition is 15% smaller and lighter than its predecessor has better battery life, faster Wi-Fi connectivity and more powerful processor. Thanks to this, it’s now capable of recording Full HD video at 60 and 50 FPS.
Both feature a system known as SuperView capable of, according to the company, “producing the world’s best wide-angle shots”.
The new HERO3+ Black Edition and Silver Edition are now available at Amazon for 299$ and 399$, respectively.
