One of the most annoying things about the Fuji X100 (and the Fuji X100S) is a detail as seemingly trivial as the adjuster that allows the battery to fit in the charger. This piece of plastic does not always fit and has the annoying tendency to break loose. Since I got the camera six months ago, I’ve lost this part four or five times, that in the end I always ended finding. Sadly, the last was the final disappearance.
So I decided to get myself a generic, cheap charger that does not have this problem, and while it arrives, I’m trying to make a hack for the three contacts to fit without problem and allow the battery to charge. After pasting some aluminum foil, I have resolved the issue by simply using a USB connector like the picture illustrates.

Yes, it’s still sloppy, but it is the easiest and fastest solution I’ve found so far and the USB connector makes the battery perfectly fit.
